The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as the primary Human Resources customer service support point of contact assigned to a set of business clients (schools and/or HISD departments). The HRBP coordinates and provides high-level support covering workforce staffing and planning and leave management. In addition, this role is responsible for coordinating the first line of support and partnering with the client and centers of expertise including budgeting, HR shared services, compensation, certification, performance management, and employee relations. Under the direction of a Manager, HR Business Partners, the HRBP provides strategic alignment of human resources processes with designated district objectives. With direction, this position works closely with campus and central office business leaders to proactively assess HR-related business needs and implement actions that effectively develop and leverage organizational talent. The HRBP will become expert in each client’s business area and will attend and participate in routine and strategic client meetings.
