A vice president human resources is responsible for oversight and management of the human resources department of an organization. Primary responsibilities of a vice president human resources include providing strategic leadership and vision to the organization as far as human resources are concerned, formulating long term human resources policies, and supervising and overseeing performance measurement of the human resource managers and the human resource director. A vice president human resources reports to an executive vice president or a CEO.A vice president human resources should have an MBA in human resource management along with 10+ years of experience in a managerial human resources position.
