Employment is our need to earn income. Employment is nothing but a commitment towards our work to perform the job for the sake of reward (money). Employment is needed by every man to earn money to survive. Our basic necessities need to be fulfilled on time.

Therefore we need money for that purpose. Employment involves some commitment from both the parties-the employer and the employee. But due to varied reasons, some people leave their employment. They are jobless and have no source of income. When the employee again returns to the employment, there comes a gap between the previous employment period and the new employment period. This is known as the employment gap.

The employment gaps need one step at a time to bridge the gap. The employment gap brings gaps not only in the employment but also in the career of the employee. The employees are at tension to bridge these gaps to get back to the right track as soon as possible. These employment gaps can create hindrances in the progress of the employment of an employee. Therefore in order to fill up the employment gaps the employee should return to the work force. Returning to the work force at the right time helps in bridging the employment gaps. This is the first step towards bridging the employment gap.

The human resource employment is also prone to the employment gaps. The human resource employment gaps can be bridged by creating more human resource jobs opportunities. The human resource jobs need consistency in employment. The human resource careers are secured in nature due to the fact that the human resource employment is hardly effected by the economy downfall. The human resource careers offer security of employment. The people pursuing human resource careers have job guarantee and consistency in the employment sector.
