Every company whether big or small has a dedicated HR department which has the responsibility of taking care of all the needs of the employees. The importance of the HR wing of a company cannot be underestimated. The employees of a company make it what it is. Thus it is imperative that the needs of the employees should be taken care of in order to ensure the efficient running of the company. The HR department is usually located in the headquarters of the company, and all HR executives are generally held in high esteem by the rest of their colleagues. As an HR manger, one has many duties and responsibilities. The position of the HR director of the company is a precarious one as he needs to be careful all the time that the company is not facing lawsuits or trouble in any form from the employees.

This will bear fruits later.

But what they need to remember is that their first responsibility is towards the company and what is best for it. Thus do not make the mistake of hesitating before terminating an employee, as this mistake could cost the company and you your job.

Another commonly made mistake is not giving documentation its deserved importance. As an HR professional you must realize the importance of documentation and keep the company's records and employee information in an arranged and organized manner.

People often become partial towards the friends they make at their workplace. This is a bad mistake as you need to treat all employees equally. This will assist you while judging their all-round performance. Being impartial and unbiased will help you make the right decision when it comes to selecting employees for the company. You must consider what will benefit the company and not your own interests.
