Position Summary
The Senior Technical Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, qualifying, submitting and closing candidates based on the skill set provided by our customers and Account Managers, utilizing a variety of methods including, internet sites, job boards, Bullhorn, referrals and interviews while keeping gross margins at the highest level possible.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Identifies potential candidates for contract, contract to hire and permanent positions and develops business relationships with these candidates.
Performs searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, recruiting firms, and employee referrals.
Achieves predetermined hire (4 per month), annual headcount and gross profit goals.
Interviews applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, and job skills. (3-4 per day).
Makes prospect calls to identify new candidates for opportunities.
Develops a thorough understanding of the technical environments for each client.
Communicates effectively with and coordinates with Account Managers on the specifics of requirements.
Screens candidates for requirements, interviews candidates as necessary and manages the submittal and interview process.
Pipelines common technologies and develops and implement strategies for identifying candidates with leading edge technologies
Contacts applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, consideration, and selection.
Negotiates and closes qualified candidates pay rate, and availability for submittal and interview.
Presents qualified candidates to the Account Manager, including resume, desired pay rate and other details on the candidate.
Extends offers of employment to candidates and close them at profitable salaries
Remarkets available AETEA consultants.
Participates in the client proposal development process.
Utilizes Bullhorn daily to accurately capture detailed candidate information and activity
Prepares and submits required weekly reports and monthly forecasts.
Completes employee new hire, termination, Consultant Client Profile, and other billing paperwork.
Visits AETEA client site as required
Other duties as assigned
Skills and/or Experience
5 to 7 years staffing industry recruiting experience
Proven interviewing and writing skills
Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and verbal skills
Work effectively with predetermined deadlines
Proven ability to qualify and close candidates
Ability to function in a team environment
Excellent attention to details
Ability to multitask
Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems, Job Boards and MS Office
