National law firm is hiring a Human Resources Director to join its fantastic and highly respected midtown Manhattan team.
The ideal Human Resources Director is a driven professional with:
5 years of experience in HR management
Prior law firm HR experience, required, additional corporate professional HR experience, a plus
SPHR or SHRM-SCP Certification, required
Experience supporting HR functions of multiple offices, required
A Master’s degree in Human Resources, desired
Excellent time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities include:
Keeping up to date on and ensuring company compliance with various local, state, and federal employment laws
Managing personnel, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, compensation review and professional development
Facilitating employee relations and disciplinary actions
Overseeing benefits administration and wellness programs
Updating firm policies and procedures, including annual updates to employment manuals
Mastering the firm’s HRIS system, including record keeping and generating various reports
Participating in firm’s Diversity & Inclusion events and initiatives
Other employment details:
Salary: $160K - $180K commensurate with experience outstanding benefits
Regular travel to firm’s Washington, DC office
Hybrid schedule
