Position Summary:
Our client, a large global premier supplier of original equipment and replacement glass glass for Original Equipment Manufacturer automakers is looking for a Plant Payroll and Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Analyst who will maintain and update payroll data, employee records, and timekeeping records and will ensure that payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees in multi-state tax scenarios are processed in a timely and accurate manner. This role will also help the Corporate area identify, develop, and initiate HRIS processes supporting HR systems. This individual will help develop and initiate HRIS updates, upgrades, testing and other technical projects for each plant area. Additionally, this role will provide guidance to HR Plant end-users on data integrity, information security, testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
This role is located onsite, based in West Nashville, and paying $63,000 to $68,000 depending on experience.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources Management, Business, or relevant field highly preferred
FPC, CPP, PHR or SPHR preferred
2-5 years of functional, technical, and multi-site location experience in HRIS Administration required
2-5 years of experience in managing and processing payroll required. Multi-state payroll experience preferred
2 or more years Ultimate Payroll software experience or 2 or more years Kronos Timekeeping software experience required
Able to manually calculate paychecks from gross to net
Proven experience with the implementation, administration and maintenance of Ultimate Software (UKGPro) or Kronos Timekeeping software preferred
Experience in formulating and managing project schedules
Proven experience in creating complex reporting
Advanced/Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
Advanced skill level with HRIS Systems and implementation
