Job Description:
The HR Advice Advisor (HRA) for Thailand reports into the Team Lead HR Advice for Singapore, Thailand and Brunei. The role supports all areas of HR Advice for employees/line managers based in Thailand. The HRA for Thailand is the main contact person for both Country HR and Business stakeholders in driving the effectiveness and consistency of global and local HR activities.
What is the Role?
As the HRA, you will be responsible for creating great line manager experiences through pro-actively addressing line manager’s needs. You will partner with the Team Lead HR Advice for Singapore, Thailand and Brunei to drive alignment of ways of working of the HR Advice scope across the Malaysia / Singapore / Thailand / Brunei cluster of countries including:
Change management support and end-to-end guidance on HR matters (eg: Policy & Benefit) to Line Manager
Actively provide insights from case handling that can contribute to the development of potential intervention or CI initiatives (global/local) aimed at improving people management and overall business performance
Focus on continuously improving line managers experience through services being provided, geared towards addressing line manager’s needs and unlocking productivity of the workforce.
Provide coaching and feedback to line managers, equipping line managers to deal with HR related matters correctly
Opportunity to engage with a wide range of stakeholders in HR to support the HR agenda and align with the business strategy
Establish strong working relationship with colleagues in country and the specialists to ensure the team can effectively partner when situation requires
Support in-country local HR activities
What We Need from You?
Degree in Business Administration / HR Management with at least 3 years of HR experience
You have a Learner Mindset, a curiosity to learn and grow, learn from mistakes, successes and speak up openly in a safe environment
You have a solid understanding of how HR adds value to the business, supporting line managers with HR related matters, ideally experienced business facing roles in the past
Skilled in having effective contracting conversations with the ability to manage expectations
Good knowledge of HR Information & Analysis skills
Proven diagnostic and investigation skills
Ability to coach and offer advice/alternatives, as opposed to just providing answers
Ability to proactively support change with stakeholders and colleagues
Ability to recognize where a line manager may need high touch support
HR Business Partnering skills will be an advantage
Fluent in both Thai and English Communication skills including writing, speaking, and reading
