POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Director of Talent Development is responsible for the global strategy for learning technologies, learner experience (LX), and learning analytics.

The Senior Director oversees the design, implementation, and administration of our learning technology infrastructure – including the global learning platform, content creation tools, content partners, and digital badging -- and leads a global group of Digital Learning Champions.

They lead the development and execution of a learning measurement strategy, overseeing the collection of qualitative and quantitative learning data, setting global practices, and ensuring robust analytics to enable decision making and drive the organization into the future.

They are responsible for creating an engaging, modern, fun, and inclusive learner experience for the enterprise, and implementing programs and initiatives to attract new learners, encourage existing users, and increase participation in PVH U.

They will work closely with peers on the development and marketing of learning opportunities for associates, aligning to global themes and objectives. They also lead the compliance training program in close partnership with Legal.

The Senior Director will have a keen understanding of UX/UI design and learning analytics. They will have a strong vision of what’s possible, pulling inspiration from all avenues including tech trends, global events, talent thought leadership, and business priorities.

The ideal candidate takes an enterprise-wide mindset to their work to develop strategy and execution plans. They mobilize resources to drive results and partner with key stakeholders at all levels within various regions, brands, functions and business areas. They structure solutions that build engagement and enhance the end user experience, and they place emphasis on driving the achievement of PVH’s strategic priorities by leveraging talent expertise

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Recommend and implement global learning technology strategy, and develop operational plans aligned to Global HR and Talent Development strategies
  • Develop and implement North America regional people development strategy, inclusive of live and virtual learning, digital learning, microlearning, etc.
  • Co-create regional (NA) and global marketing and communication efforts across all channels (email, internal social media, websites, etc.), including measuring effectiveness
  • Oversee the PVH U technology environment (LMS/learning platform, authoring and content creation tools, marketing tools, engagement/credentialing,) including new system/set up, integrations, implementations, new content providers, enhancements, updates and ongoing maintenance
  • Oversee the evolution, communication, and training of learning technology and LX global governance, standards, practices, and processes
  • Lead and influence global Talent Development partners – including peers and those more senior – in driving associate engagement with PVH University and a learning culture:
    • Partner with regions to develop and/or expand their use of learning infrastructure to meet regional/local needs
    • Source and select key partners to drive global PVH University engagement
    • Use data to educate and facilitate decision making
    • Mature style guidelines
  • Oversee management of global Digital Learning Champions group
  • Lead workflow management with internal and external partners across multiple global initiatives
  • Challenge the status quo and continuously improve the LX through introduction of new concepts, services, approaches, and products for a diverse global audience
  • Consult with and make recommendations to senior leadership regarding talent development strategy and initiatives
  • Develop and evolve global talent development measurement strategy, including a global dashboard, standardized needs analysis practices, and education of key stakeholders
  • Create an industry leading learner experience across learning technology ecosystem, academies, regions, and for diverse segments of the population
  • Partner with the Legal team develop plans, select vendors, and deliver global online Compliance training (PVH Complies)
  • Stay up-to-date on external trends in learning technology, LX, learning analytics, and talent development
  • Partner with the HRIS team to evolve and improve the learning platform; be active member of Workday Community
  • Proactively identify and recommend ways to operationalize concepts to drive engagement, efficiency, and scale
  • In collaboration with key partners, develop and implement a global I&D curriculum
  • Work in partnership with global talent teams and COE leaders to drive overarching Talent Development and HR priorities
  • Lead cross-functional task forces of diverse make-up
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in training program design, development, and implementation, inclusive of in-person, virtual, digital, video-based, micro, and simulation-based learning; familiarity with Workday Learning, Easygenerator, Easy Movie, Articulate 360 & Rise, SnipIt, and Captivate preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in system implementation, configuration, and administration
  • Experience with marketing and communication tactics and measurement
  • Experience designing technical interfaces for optimized user experience (UX); designing learning experience (LX) within LMS/LXP preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of instructional design methodology
  • Data analysis, reporting, and summarizing data for key stakeholders; experience with Tableau or PowerBI preferred
  • Developing and maintaining internal/external relationships
  • Project management and leadership
  • People management experience
  • Experience in consulting or advising a plus

      

Education:            

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree strongly preferred.
