Opportunity:
Snap-on is looking to hire a full time Human Resources Generalist
support Snap-on's Corporate division. This position is located within Snap-on's Corporate offices at 2801 80th Street, Kenosha, Wisconsin.


This Human Resources Generalist role provides a full range of human resources support from recruitment to associate engagement and development. This position supports Snap-on's Corporate division, which means working with professionals in IT, Marketing, Legal, and Innovation to help grow and shape Snap-on's talent and future.

What You Bring to the Team:
Required Skills:
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or a related business field is required
2 years Human Resources experience
Preferred experience would include: sourcing and recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, employee relations and leave administration
Experience utilizing an applicant tracking system (preferably iCIMS) and an HRIS
Familiarity with employment law and compliance concepts
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and managing multiple time lines
Solid oral and written communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills
Ability to hold the confidence of others and maintain private, confidential and sensitive information private
Responsibilities
:


Partners with management teams on employee issues and supports the recruitment process for open positions. Includes, but is not limited to: requisition approvals, job postings, sourcing, interviewing, candidate assessments, hiring and compensation decisions, screening, preparing offers, and onboarding.
Serve as point of contact for human resources questions from associates.
Handles leave of absence and FMLA or accommodation requests.
Conducts exit interviews for assigned departments and presents findings/insights to drive retention action plans.
Works closely with applicant tracking system and various recruiting systems for both sourcing and communicating with candidates. Examples include but are not limited to: iCIMS applicant tracking system, Text Recruit, Spark Hire one-way video interviewing, Indeed job sponsorships, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
Attends university career fairs, onsite and virtual, representing Snap-on and connecting with students for internships and entry-level opportunities.
Support annual affirmative action plan process. Auditing applicant data and supporting the compiling of all Snap-on AAP plans.
Conduct employee engagement meetings and stay interviews on an ongoing basis.
Oversee annual summer internship program. Planning and coordinating several educational events and lunch and learn opportunities.
Planning and administration of several corporate campus and community engagement events. Examples include: quarterly blood drives, annual flu shots, associate holiday events, and various other campus events.
