We are seeking an Incoming Inspector for a very important client.
The Company is looking for a self-motivating Incoming Inspector to join their exciting team in Manassas, VA. The Incoming Inspector will report to the Supplier Quality Manager and perform the following tasks: ? Inspection of Mechanical assemblies ? Inspection of Printed Circuit Boards in accordance with IPC 600 & 610 ? Inspection of Circuit Card assemblies in accordance with IPC 610 ? Perform X-Ray Florescence testing of materials and interpret results ? Review of conformance and traceability documentation ? Entry of all information in the Quality Management System Database - TipQA

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Skills Required To complete these duties the inspector will need to posses the following: ? Familiarity with Military and industry specification and standards ? Proficient in the use of mechanical inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and go/no go gauges ? Ability to interpret and inspect to Technical specifications and engineering drawings ? Proficient computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office products Candidate must be able to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills and work with a multidisciplinary team
Skills Preferred ? Certified in IPC 600 and IPC 610 ? Strong computer skills ? including the use of Microsoft office and a paperless Quality Management System software (such as TipQA, Net-Inspect, etc). ? Preferred candidate to have the ability to conduct preliminary review of technical data supplied with hardware shipments ? Ability to use XRF equipment and interpret results
Experience Required Must have 3 to 5 years inspection experience with the ability to: - read, interpret and inspect technical engineering drawings - read and understand military standards, process sheets and other documentation related to the inspection of printed wiring boards, electrical and mechanical piece parts and assemblies.
Experience Preferred 5 to 8 years inspection experience with the ability to read, interpret and inspect technical part drawings, military standards, process sheets and other documentation related to the inspection of printed wiring boards, electrical and mechanical piece parts and assemblies.
Education Required Required education: High School/GED
