The basic desire for any organization is the smooth operation of its personnel. The success of an organization not only depends on the market and its competitors, but also through its focus on its employees. The employees at an organization are responsible for the growth or the downfall of any organization and should be monitored accordingly.

Human Resource (HR) management refers to the strategic supervision of employees, who collectively or individually contribute to the achievement of an organization’s strategic goals and objectives. By understanding that employees have their own thoughts, ideas, perceptions, objectives, and personalities, the HRM takes the time to ensure that the company is able to focus the individual efforts and collective ideas of the group psychology to ensure employees achieve organizational objectives.

HRM’s are responsible for enabling a business or organization to achieve its strategic aims by attracting, maintaining, and developing the skills of its employees. They operate as a link between the employees and the organization. Executives should realize the needs of their employees and understand, realize, and evaluate the conditions which help the employees recognize their job as part of their lives and not just a routine obligation.

The HRM communicate with management in an effort to offer a host of opinions when decisions must be made. From this, it can be seen that decision making is not just influenced by the perceptions of HR or the managers, but through the summation of strategic harmony.

The objectives and the responsibilities of the HRM may include:

·         To ensure continual employee development

HRM’s perform training sessions and help in motivating employees through developing ethical policies, and social responsibilities, and individual behavior. HRM’s play a significant role in solving and providing solutions to organization problems and maintain employees efficiency.

There are new challenges that develop in the daily operations of any organization, and it is certain that such challenges will continue to appear. The proper use of HRM techniques is in understanding the organizational culture and the individual personalities contained.
